IRONMAN 70.3 Desaru Coast

The A-team took a trip up to Desaru Coast for the IRONMAN 70.3 Desaru Coast Multisport Festival. We decided to use this time to gain racing experience before the season begins in Singapore.

It was all fun and games with the boys and we even managed to sweep the podium from 1st to 5th consisting of Bryce Chong, Luke Chua, Cedric Chua, Hoo Fang Yu, and Tan Jia Hao respectively in the sprint distance.

Our ex-coach Sumedha who was the custodian for the trip as Coach Bryce was racing commented that it was a good break from training and racing on the sunny island and a short road trip up north can help athletes train better with a change in environment and concluding it with a race to gauge their abilities going into the season.
