Press Release: COVID Phase 2

Apart from the fun and laughter going all around the Breakaway, we have always prided ourselves in terms of safe and professional training protocols for our members.

Over the past few weeks, we have been working hard to prepare ourselves for reopening. Now that we have been given the go-ahead in Phase 2 to re-open our doors for you, we have put in place precautionary measures to ensure your safety when you join us for trainings.

EXTRA PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

While we can’t wait to welcome you back, the safety of our members and staff is our utmost priority.

To ensure that all precautionary measures are held to the highest standards, we have reviewed all government guidelines and have placed several steps in place.

We see ourselves leading the way with Sport Singapore and with the relevant stakeholders to improve a number of training-related lapses within our industry. As an entity with the Registry of Societies, we are grateful to be able to resume our club training by adhering to safe training protocols.

We have launched our contract tracing mechanism for our members and clients to ensure the wellbeing of everyone, even the public. We too have ensured strict compliance with current guidelines dates 17th July 2020 and have appointed SMOs (Safety Management Officers) for the relevant training and training dates.

Before training begins

• Temperature checks and health declaration will be required
• Maintain safe distancing of at least 1m at waiting areas
• We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone unwell and/or showing signs of respiratory symptoms (for both staff and members)

We will continue to keep you updated over the coming weeks, as we receive updates from the authorities. In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming you again and stay safe!
